Luria Academy of Brooklyn is seeking full-time teaching assistants (tone keeper) for our lower and upper elementary divisions, and a warm assistant teacher for our preschool classroom. These are full time positions. The candidate must be open to a diverse teaching environment, and be a cooperative and collaborative teammate.
Responsibilities for the Elementary Tone Keeper positions include:
• Support lead teachers to deliver lessons and guide students • Present subject matter to students under the direction and guidance of Lead Teacher • Work 1:1 or in small groups with students • Supervise students during arrival, recess, lunch, and dismissal • Collaborate with teaching team to manage classroom routines and behaviors
Requirements: • Experience working with children in elementary school • Open to a diverse teaching environment • Work cooperatively and collaboratively • Detail-oriented • Experience in Hebrew and Judaic Studies a plus
