As our thriving 825+ family center for Jewish communal life celebrates the promotion of Rabbi Ari Lucas from Associate to Senior Rabbi, we seek to build on past success and begin to envision and develop a plan for the future.

The ideal Executive Director candidate is:
A relationship builder with team management and supervision skills Committed to working in deep collaboration with the Senior Rabbi to design and realize the vision of the synagogue An effective partner with lay leaders, particularly the executive committee and board of trustees, to ensure fiscal responsibility and long-term development opportunities Able to lead operations including facility management, finance and accounting, fundraising, marketing, budget management, programming, communications, talent and development Tech and social media savvy with strong communication skills Able to encourage engagement throughout the community and build a customer service culture to ensure congregants have easy access to caring and knowledgeable resources Flexible and willing to be a hands on team player Committed to the mission of sustaining Jewish community
The ideal Executive Director candidate has:
A minimum of 5+ years relevant work experience Familiarity with community-based and/or membership organizations Proven managerial and business operations experience Knowledge of organization functions including finance, accounting, communications, personnel, facilities, and security
