Jewish day school in Brooklyn is currently interviewing for a part/full time Computer science/ STEM teacher for Grades 5-8th for the 2021/22 school year. The STEM Teacher will be responsible for developing an interest in and teaching the curricula of computer science including Coding, 3D Printing, Cyber Security, Microsoft Office, Python, Scratch, HTML, and other topics included in the curriculum. In addition, a STEM program wil focus on bridge building, programming and engineering, requiring students to integrate science, technology, and mathematics in the application of the design cycle to address real-world challenges.
Additional opportunities could include providing technology support for the faculty in the use of chromebooks, laptops, software applications and other various education based programs (Google Classroom, Go Guardian etc.)
