Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Recruiting candidates for open positions. This includes posting job ads, screening resumes, conducting phone interviews, scheduling in person interviews, and handling new hire paperwork.
• Seek approvals from executives for all personnel changes, and process changes accordingly.
• Employment verifications
• Insurance: offer medical, dental, and vision insurance to all qualified employees; process enrollment paperwork, inform payroll of deduction amount, collect and record COBRA payments, review monthly insurance bills for accuracy
• Process disability and FMLA paperwork for eligible employees
• Handle Aflac benefits
• Handle Liability insurance, accident insurance, crime policy, etc.
• Collect information for, and submit, monthly new hire reports to ACS
• Create org charts and job descriptions
• Deal with employee grievances
• Deal with employee misconduct
• Daily office tasks
Qualification, Skills and Knowledge Requirements
• Bachelors degree or two years experience in Human Resources and/or Human Services
• Ability to work and communicate effectively
• Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills
• Ability to manage cases without constant or direct supervision
• Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks
• Ability to work flexible hours in the evening to accommodate families
• Must have a clean criminal record and no child abuse record
• Ability to work on Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel
• Detail oriented and organizational skills
