Temple Emanu-el of Greater Miami is seeking a pulpit Rabbi to be the spiritual leader of our congregation
Temple Emanu-el is the oldest conservative shul in Miami Beach and is housed in what many consider one of the most beautiful sanctuaries in America. Temple Emanu-el is home to the Muss Montessori School the only Jewish affiliated Montessori school in South Beach, educating over 50 pre-school children. Temple Emanu-El is an egalitarian, community welcoming Jewish individuals, couples, families of all ages, ethnicities and sexual orientation.
The role of the Rabbi would include leading services, provide educational opportunities for the community, and serve the congregation in life cycle events. The Rabbi would work with the lay leadership to engage members and grow membership at the Shul. Representing the Synagogue in the community. The candidate should have strong public speaking skills to deliver meaningful sermons.
