The Synagogue Administrative Support person contributes integrally to the congregation’s success, supporting staff and lay leaders with membership and communications functions. Key responsibilities include administration and communication with members, lay leaders and the community. Role and Responsibilities
- Publicity & Communication- write, publish, post, and/or design email announcements and printed publications
- Assist with daily office responsibilities
- Coordinate events
- Manage membership database (ShulCloud)
- Manage phone system
- Communicate effectively and personably with congregants
- Work closely with the Rabbi and President on tasks deemed necessary by them Qualifications and Educational Requirements
- Experience working in an office, preferably for a Synagogue or not-for-profit.
- Experience with Judaic practices and rituals
- Ability to read Hebrew
- Knowledge of computers and databases- particularly Microsoft Office, Quickbooks and ShulCloud

Hours Monday – Thursday 9:00 am – 4:30 pm Friday 9:00 am – 2:00 pm
