Job Description

To engage and build relationships with the B'nai Moshe and Metro Detroit young adult Jewish population in target age groups of 25-35 and 35-45 years old.

o Develop collaborative relationships with current CBM members in the target age groups for input and peer-to-peer recruitment for participation in such events. o Create programs that enhance Jewish experiences by combining both social and Jewish pieces to create a more novel whole. The events can also be entirely social, but should always be tied to CBM in some way.
o Through relationship-based engagement, connect individuals with similar life characteristics/interests to create chavurah groups to participate in both synagogue and outside activities together o Generate new ideas about how to help achieve goals, such as CBM giving micro-grants for events or to chavurahs to enable activities. o Run events that create relevance for each of the subgroups within the target population: singles, couples without children, couples with children. o Engage individuals through learning opportunities, holiday celebrations, life cycle events, 1 on 1 learning opportunities (for ritual for those who don’t know) to build a strong community.
