The Boston Synagogue Hebrew School is a small Sunday school in Boston’s Downtown West End. Classes are focused on Jewish Identity, Culture, Music, Prayer, Torah Study, and Hebrew. We offer small multi-age class sizes and focused individual attention allowing our students to make incredible progress during the school year.
We are seeking a teacher for our 3rd-6th grade class. Our out of the box curriculum (with room for creativity) includes Hebrew, liturgic skills, holidays, prayers, traditional stories and more. The position available is for about 5 pre-Bar/Bat Mitzvah-age kids.
Position begins September or October 2022.
Ideal candidate has experience in education with a background in Judaica and possibly music or art.
Classes meet once a week from 10AM-12PM and the academic schedule follows the Boston Public School calendar.
Salary is competitive ($35-45/hr depending on qualifications).
