The Charitable Giving Associate is a full-time, exempt staff position whose primary responsibility is to provide development and stewardship support. The qualified candidate works as an integral part of the Foundation’s team to execute the Foundation’s fund development efforts, including outreach, prospecting, and collaborating on program and development projects. This team member must provide high-level customer service and build trust and strong relationships with donors and prospects with confidentiality. A successful candidate will also be detail-oriented, participate in and lead several projects, and have strong computer skills. They will understand the big picture and take responsibility for and ownership of their work. They will have the communication skills to work with many constituents. Knowledge of the local Jewish community and organizations is a plus. This position reports to the Executive Director of the Houston Jewish Community Foundation.
