Part-Time Religious School Teachers

Part-time Religious School Teachers/Coral Springs Temple Beth Orr of Coral Springs seeks passionate and dedicated part-time Religious School teachers for our Sunday K-7 Program (9 AM – 12PM) to be part of a dynamic, engaging fresh curriculum under the supervision of our new RS Director. As a teacher in our school, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our students and families by providing a warm and welcoming classroom environment that fosters a sense of belonging and community. Our curriculum emphasizes hands-on learning, Jewish values, Jewish history and traditions, mitzvot and the impact of Judaism on our lives. Additionally, we will learn the basic language of Hebrew (letters and vowels in lower grades) gradually preparing for Hebrew reading in the upper grades. Qualifications: Share your love of Judaism with children Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well as a team Passion for working with children and a commitment to creating engaging Jewish learning experiences Understanding of Reform Jewish traditions and values Previous educational experience either in a camp or Religious School/Hebrew School setting Familiarity with using technology and multimedia resources to enhance learning experiences. Salary: $40-$50/hr
