Part-Time Youth Director

Part-time Youth Director Position! The Young Israel of Oceanside, a thriving community on Long Island with approximately 200 youth, is seeking either a husband/wife team or individual with creativity and warmth to plan and execute a full schedule of youth activities. Candidates should have a passion for working with and assisting children, as well as strong leadership skills. This is a part-time position, with much of the activities taking place on the weekends but requiring weekday preparation and communication. Salary range $15-$50k or housing with adjusted salary Responsibilities include: Oversee shabbos morning groups including managing teen leaders Develop and execute Sunday programs monthly Coordinate and oversee periodic Motzei Shabbos parent- child learning Manage and track youth department expenses and leader payments Qualifications: Relevant experience with Jewish youth programming strongly preferred Innovation and creativity Strong leadership and communication skills Excellent organizational skills Please email resumes to youthsearch@yioceanside.org
