Temple Emanuel is looking to hire teachers for our Sunday morning Religious School program for the 2025 – 2026 school year. Our program provides learners with the tools to become empowered Jewish adults. We focus on social and emotional development and explore Judaism and Hebrew through games, outdoor learning, art, music, movement, and more.

Job Details Be onsite as a teacher for three hours every Sunday morning when school is in session. We take off for school breaks and holidays and will have 23 sessions for the 2025 – 2026 school year. Prepare weekly lesson plans based on a provided curricular outline. Compose brief monthly emails to class parents. Attend quarterly staff meetings/professional development sessions. Ability to teach a specialty such as dance, cooking, gardening, drama, science, or an instrument is a plus. Salary - $60 per hour
