We are seeking a skilled and reliable Assistant to the Executive Director to join our dedicated team at a private, mission driven school. Key Responsibilities Post transactions to the General Ledger Prepare and maintain monthly and annual financial statements Assist in budget tracking and financial reporting Collaborate with other employees to support administrative functions Maintain discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information Administration of group health insurance and pension fund.
Requirements Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial reporting Strong knowledge of General Ledger accounting Proficiency with accounting software, ie. Quickbooks or equivalent Excellent attention to detail Excellent organizational skills Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team
Experience in a school or non-profit setting is a plus Human resources experience is preferred
