Position Overview
JCHS is seeking a dynamic and personable Admissions Director to lead all aspects of student recruitment, admissions, and enrollment management. The ideal candidate is warm, organized, and passionate about connecting families to the mission and values of our school. This position requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to guide families thoughtfully through the admissions process.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of the admissions process, from inquiry through enrollment.
Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective families, ensuring a welcoming and personalized experience.
Plan and manage admissions events including Open Houses & tours
Collaborate with the Head of School, Principal and faculty to develop outreach strategies and materials.
Maintain accurate admissions data and track enrollment goals.
Coordinate student interviews and assessments, and lead admissions committee meetings.
Build and maintain strong relationships with feeder schools, community organizations, and families.
Communicate regularly with prospective families to support timely and informed decision-making.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience in school admissions, marketing, or related field.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable using admissions software and database systems.
Ability to represent the school with warmth, professionalism, and enthusiasm.
