Job Description

Congregation Nevei Kodesh is an intimate community of approximately 110 families drawn from the greater Boulder/Denver area. As a Jewish Renewal Community, we believe in heartfelt, transformational Judaism. What does that mean? We are looking for someone who can be the heart of our operations and the welcoming face of our community. Your key focus will be membership, programming, fundraising and administrative support. Working in close collaboration with our rabbi and our administrative team, you’ll connect the dots. You'll help us grow thoughtfully, create experiences people remember, and assure our synagogue runs smoothly and responsively.

Part-Time: 0.75 | Exempt-Salaried |Salary range $5K-$6K/month Boulder, Colorado | This is not a remote position.

● You have nonprofit management experience.

● You know Jewish community. You've worked in a synagogue, JCC, Hillel, or similar setting, and you get what makes Jewish communal life tick.

● You're a people person. You genuinely love connecting with others and creating spaces where everyone feels welcome.

● You see the forest AND the trees. You think strategically while holding the details.

● You’re a self starter and make things happen. You’ve implemented projects end-to-end, pulling together committees and volunteers, and energizing your small team.

● You thrive on collaboration, empowering the people you work alongside.

● You're a great communicator. Whether you're editing social media posts, presenting to the board of directors, or chatting with a member over coffee, you know how to connect.

● You roll with the punches. Plans change, unexpected things happen, and you handle it all with grace and good humor.

Required Qualifications ● Demonstrated success in building membership, developing programs, and fundraising

● Strong project management skills with ability to handle complexity

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills

● Experience leading teams in collaborative, nonhierarchical environments

● Fluent with Microsoft Office 365 and Google Suite

● Skill in database management and in learning new digital tools

● Experience with budget management and financial reporting

● Availability for evening and weekend events as scheduled
