Job details: Be onsite to teach on Sunday mornings (8:45 - 11:45am), August 2026 - May 2027 with Jewish and national holidays off. Prepare weekly lesson plans based on the provided curricular outline. Attend orientation, security training, quarterly staff meetings/ professional development, and two Religious School Shabbat services. Prepare bi-yearly progress assessments for your students, one at the end of the winter session and the other at the end of the school year.
Job requirements: You have a passion for Jewish education, love working with children, and have prior knowledge of (and a thirst to learn more about) Jewish tradition, rituals, holidays, and prayer! You are an enthusiastic team player with a “can-do” attitude. For preschool teachers: You have experience with early childhood education or care. Bonus if you have experience with the Reggio Emilia approach. For elementary school teachers: You have experience with elementary education and are passionate about bringing Judaism to life. Fingerprinted and CPR trained (or available for summer training).
