About You:
We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable professional to spearhead B’nai Mitzvah training. Candidate must be intimately familiar with Shabbat morning, afternoon, and evening services and must be able to effectively teach nusach, trope, and most importantly, Hebrew reading skills.
About The Role:

Work on a team with the synagogue Cantor and other staff members to teach prayers, Torah reading, Haftarah reading, and other necessary skills to all B'nai Mitzvah students at the synagogue.

Assist B'nai Mitzvah students in researching and writing their d’var Torah speeches for their services. Generally, the director will meet with each student approximately 3 times to discuss and edit their speech.

Be available to have a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours, to accommodate families’ needs.
