The New York College of Podiatric Medicine (Touro University) seeks a dynamic, experienced Podiatrist to join the Surgery Department. This full-time, on-site role (five days/week) educates and mentors students and residents in Podiatric Medicine. The ideal candidate has exceptional communication skills, is comfortable speaking to large audiences, and is engaging, approachable, patient, and kind.
Responsibilities:
• Teach and mentor students and residents; provide academic consultation, performance evaluation, and tutoring
• Serve on College/Clinic committees; attend Grand Rounds, Clinical Pathological Conferences, and required meetings
• Pursue scholarly activity (publications, funded/approved research); provide clinical coverage at affiliated hospitals or clinics
Qualifications:
• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM); CPME-approved residency
• Board qualified or certified in Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle (RRA) from ABFAS; NYS license and current DEA certificate
Salary & Benefits:
$136,000–$170,000/year. Comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision, 403(b) with match, tuition exemption, generous PTO, and early-release Fridays.
