The Riverdale Y seeks a dynamic, results-oriented leader to drive membership growth, retention, engagement, and earned revenue. This position oversees the Member Services, Aquatics, Fitness, Athletics, and Front Desk departments, supervises a team of union and non-union staff, and serves as the primary architect of the member journey — and leads the annual Riverdale Y 5K & Fun Run, a signature fundraising and community engagement event.
Responsibilities: • Develop and execute strategies to increase membership revenue, retention, and participation • Design a comprehensive member engagement strategy from acquisition through onboarding and retention • Hire, train, coach, and evaluate department leaders; establish goals and KPIs • Develop and manage departmental operating budgets and financial reporting • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in business, nonprofit management, recreation, or a related field (Master's preferred) • Minimum 5-7 years of progressive leadership in membership-based organizations
