The Pearlstone Campus for Living Judaism — a 180-acre retreat center near the heart of Jewish Baltimore engaging over 15,000 people each year through overnight retreats, kosher farm-to-table food, Jewish environmental education, camps, and regenerative agriculture — seeks its third Executive Director. Pearlstone's $7M annual budget and nearly 100 staff serve as the largest impact platform for Adamah, the leading Jewish environmental organization in North America, and an agency of The Associated.
Responsibilities: • Build and lead a high-performing team across Sales, Guest Services, Food Service, Program, Farm, and Facilities • Strengthen financial sustainability through increased sales and philanthropic support • Complete over $3M of fully funded facility projects in the Pearlstone Campus Master Plan • Serve as lead staff to the Pearlstone Board and ambassador to The Associated and the Baltimore Jewish community • Personally cultivate and steward major donor relationships
Qualifications: • 8-10+ years in senior leadership, including 5+ years managing department heads and multi-million dollar budgets • Track record in change management, earned revenue growth, and successful fundraising • Basic Jewish literacy and passion for Adamah's mission; retreat center, hospitality, or camp experience preferred
Salary: $170,000/year, exempt with benefits.
