Job Description

Support JFS clients and their caregivers by connecting them to information and resources that address their individual needs — with the goal of enhancing mental health and wellbeing among youth (6-18) and young adults (18-25). The coordinator fosters community partnerships, makes appropriate referrals, and educates clients about the resources available to them.

Responsibilities: • Build trusted relationships with a compassionate, strengths-based lens and develop service plans with measurable goals • Serve as a subject matter expert for referrals across mental health, medical, educational, developmental, and community-based systems • Help clients navigate healthcare, behavioral health, and educational systems; coordinate among JFS clinical staff, schools, and providers • Maintain accurate, confidential documentation and contribute data for grant reporting • Develop relationships with healthcare, educational, governmental, and nonprofit partners across Greater Austin

Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in a related field and minimum 2 years of professional experience with children, adolescents, young adults, and/or families • Strong understanding of community resources, service systems, and referral processes
