The Jewish Museum of Maryland (JMM) seeks an Exhibits Manager to support a robust exhibition schedule following capital updates and gallery expansion completed in 2025. Reporting to the Deputy Director, this role works cross-departmentally supporting exhibition development and execution.
Responsibilities: • Project-manage gallery-based projects: team development, schedules, budgets, and strategy briefs • Manage RFP and MOU processes for curators, designers, multi-media professionals, contractors, and vendors • Support installation and maintenance of JMM galleries between and during exhibits • Guide development of exhibit graphics; lead asset procurement (image, film, audio) and assist with loan processes • Supervise the Exhibits Coordinator
Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree preferred, or 3+ years of experience in a similar role • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) preferred • Knowledge of the Jewish communal sector and cultural heritage experience a plus
Salary: $50,000-$55,000 for a 30-hour full-time week. Benefits include health insurance, life insurance, LTD, flexible spending, complimentary JCC membership, three weeks vacation, and closure for Jewish holidays.
