JCC Brooklyn (Kings Bay YM-YWHA) seeks an experienced Early Childhood Site Director to oversee daily operations of its nursery/preschool program (3 classrooms).
Responsibilities: • Oversee site operations and supervise teaching staff • Maintain safe, warm, developmentally appropriate classrooms • Communicate with parents and families; support enrollment, events, and family engagement • Ensure DOH, licensing, and safety compliance; support Jewish holiday and cultural programming
Requirements: Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education or related field; valid NYS Teaching Certificate (Initial or Professional); 2+ years as a group teacher plus early-childhood leadership experience. Familiarity with Jewish culture and Hebrew language strongly preferred.
Full-time, Mon–Fri 8am–4pm. Salary: $80,000–$100,000 commensurate with experience, plus health, pension, PTO, and paid holidays.
