The JCC of Greater Pittsburgh seeks an Agency Security Director to provide strategic leadership and oversight for all security, safety, and emergency-preparedness programs across agency locations.
Responsibilities: • Develop, implement, and evaluate security, crisis-response, evacuation, and workplace-violence-prevention plans • Serve as lead security professional during critical incidents; coordinate with law enforcement and homeland security partners • Monitor emerging threats including antisemitism and targeted violence • Oversee physical security systems (surveillance, access control, alarms) and department operations, budgets, and staffing • Train security personnel and all staff; build a culture of safety and preparedness
Qualifications: Bachelor's in Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, Emergency Management, or related field preferred; minimum 5 years in law enforcement, corporate/government/homeland security with supervisory experience. Requires PA clearances, First Aid/CPR/Stop the Bleed, Concealed Carry permit, ACT 235, CIT, and tactical/de-escalation certifications. EOE.
