Louis Brier Home and Hospital (Vancouver), a 215-bed accredited residential care facility, seeks a Maintenance Worker III, reporting to the Manager, Building Services.
Responsibilities: • Perform mechanical, electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry maintenance and repairs • Maintain and repair equipment (wheelchairs, beds, appliances); repair walls, ceilings, and flooring • Perform heavy cleaning and grounds-keeping; transport heavy furniture and equipment • Check and maintain HVAC and hot-water systems; perform routine security and emergency-preparedness duties
Qualifications: Grade 10 plus 2 years' related experience or equivalent (e.g., Building Service Worker training); knowledge of building trades; ability to operate related equipment; physical ability to carry out duties.
Schedule: Sun–Thu 8am–4pm. Salary: $27.10/hour.
