BBYO seeks an early-career Philanthropic Operations Associate to support its fundraising operations — maintaining donor databases, processing gifts, and managing CRM systems to help the organization achieve its philanthropic goals. Hybrid role based in Washington, DC (minimum 2 days/week in office).
Responsibilities:
• Manage gift processing, donor acknowledgments, pledge tracking, and CRM updates
• Maintain accurate donor records in Salesforce, including contact and address changes
• Administer matching gifts, stock gifts, monthly giving programs, and online platforms
• Create acknowledgment letters, tax receipts, invoices, and pledge reminders
• Track campaign progress and coordinate with Finance on revenue reconciliation and audit support
• Train fundraising staff on Salesforce functions and supervise the operations intern
Qualifications:
• 1–2 years CRM experience (Salesforce preferred) and donor database familiarity
• Bachelor's degree; proficiency with Excel
• Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
Salary & Benefits:
