The Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) of the Jewish Federation of Louisville seeks a Director to advance its public-policy agenda and foster cooperation across religious, racial, and ethnic groups.
Responsibilities: • Spearhead the public-policy agenda; educate on issues and current events • Build relationships with ethnic, racial, faith-based, and civic groups; maintain ties with government officials • Support Israel advocacy and combat antisemitism; develop Holocaust commemoration and education programming • Mobilize community leadership and respond to antisemitic incidents; serve as the central address for community relations
Qualifications: Advanced degree preferred (Jewish communal studies, social sciences, or public administration); knowledge of government affairs, legislative processes, and advocacy; commitment to Israel; strong writing and public-speaking skills; understanding of Jewish practices and community infrastructure.
Salary: $75,000–$85,000.
