Ruth & Norman Rales Jewish Family Services is hiring a full-time Co-located Therapist to provide mental health counseling for Palm Beach County elementary school students. The role identifies and engages students with mental health issues within the school setting — through early intervention, prevention, and crisis management — and works with school staff and faculty to address the needs of students and their families. This is a 12-month position: 10 months in the school system and 2 months on-site with JFS's Outreach Department.
Requirements include a Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field; school-setting experience and experience working with trauma preferred; background in individual and group counseling and child/adolescent behavior; and strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
