Hebrew Academy on Miami Beach is seeking a 5th grade lead Judaic Studies teacher for a full-time position beginning in August 2026. Judaic teachers are passionate about instilling a deep appreciation for Jewish traditions, culture and values and play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of students.
As a 5th grade Limudei Kodesh teacher, you will teach all core Judaic subjects to a co-ed class of approximately 20 students.
Responsibilities:
• Foster understanding and appreciation for Jewish traditions, culture, the study of Torah, Tefillah, and the people and land of Israel • Contribute to the holistic development of your students and nurture their connection to Judaism • Help students develop into responsible global citizens and proud representatives of the Jewish people, instilling a commitment to social justice • Guide students toward becoming informed, compassionate individuals • Demonstrate professionalism, collaboration and personal integrity in all aspects of the role
Schedule: Full-time, 7:45am-4:00pm Monday through Thursday and 7:45am-1:50pm on Friday.
