Job Description

The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington seeks a highly organized Communications Coordinator to serve as the operational hub of the Communications team — keeping projects organized, deadlines on track, and colleagues connected while supporting campaigns, events, and donor experiences.

Responsibilities: • Coordinate department meetings, schedules, calendars, agendas, and materials • Maintain project trackers and help move communications projects across campaigns, email, web, and content • Prepare, proofread, and format materials, presentations, and planning documents • Assist with planning and on-site execution of Federation events and donor experiences

Qualifications: • 1–3 years in communications, project coordination, or event support • Exceptional attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, and project tools such as ClickUp • Familiarity with Jewish customs and community life preferred
