Role Overview: The Associate Director of Development supports and executes the organization’s event-driven fundraising efforts. This role works closely with senior leadership and marketing teams to plan and deliver high-impact events that strengthen donor engagement and drive revenue.
Key Responsibilities: o Support planning and execution of all fundraising events, including parlor meetings and the Annual Gala o Manage event logistics, timelines, vendors, budgets and on-site execution o Collaborate with Development and Marketing teams on sponsorships, ticketing and materials o Support senior leadership with event preparation and donor-facing engagements o Track expenses, assist with post-event reporting and contribute to continuous improvement o Stewardship and solicitation of existing donors o Identify, develop and solicit new prospective donors
Qualifications: o 5+ years of nonprofit development or event management experience o Experience supporting revenue-generating events (galas, benefit dinners, regional events) o Strong project management, communication and organizational skills o Comfortable working with senior leadership and external partners o Experience with CRM systems and event platforms o Willingness to travel domestically o Detail-oriented, adaptable and mission-driven
