Join the Disruption! Jewish Culture High School is looking for an experienced HEAD OF SECURITY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our students, faculty, staff, and campus facilities.
Key Responsibilities and Duties Policy & Emergency Management: Creates and updates security protocols, including crisis management plans, fire safety, and lockdown procedures. Personnel Management: Supervises security staff, campus monitors, and event staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling. Surveillance & Physical Security: Oversees electronic security systems, such as cameras and alarms, and monitors building perimeters. Liaison & Communication: Acts as the primary contact for local law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency responders. Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Identifies potential threats and hazards through site audits and behavioral threat assessments. Training & Education: Provides safety training for staff, faculty, and students regarding emergency preparedness. Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills under pressure are critical. Knowledge: Familiarity with school law, risk management, and security technology (surveillance, access control).
